- The New Service Connection & Account Information Service by TPWODL, TPSODL & TPNODL called Discoms hereunder is a free service which provides New Service Connection related Information, through password protected through website to any User ("User") at the risk of the User.
- User is requested to check up the desired details of Service with respective SDO/Division Office of Discoms. Discoms shall not be liable for any liability which may arise as a consequence of the erroneous information. Discoms does not guarantee that the Service will be without delay or interruption or that the information supplied will be accurate or complete and Discoms assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the information
- In no circumstances, the information gathered from the Service could be considered conclusive and therefore could not be used as evidence for the purpose of any court case, litigation or any other form of complaint.
- In case of any inconsistency between the various figures & details shown in this website with the New Service Connection account of the Distribution Company, the figures as per record available with the field office of the Distribution Company shall be final.
- Discoms reserve its right to suspend/terminate the Service at any time at its sole discretion.
- User agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Discoms, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claim arising from or in any way related to his/her use of the Service, including any liability or expense arising from all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys' fees, of every kind and nature.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by The Electricity Act, 2003, The Electricity Supply Rules 1956, OER Act 1995 and rules and regulation framed there under as amended from time to time. In the event that there is a dispute of difference with regard to these Terms and Conditions, the same shall be dealt under the Provisions of aforesaid Act, Rules and Regulations.
- The Terms and Conditions set here in above may be modified by Discoms without any prior notice to the User and the User's continued usage of the Service shall be deemed to be an acceptance of the modified terms.
- Applicant shall be held responsible for authenticity of the documents submitted. TPCODL at no points shall be held liable for documents submitted by Applicants.
- Applicants may be asked to submit additional documents based on the type of connection applied, site conditions etc.
- TPCODL shall not be liable for any delay on account of details/documents/payment submitted by applicants.
- Endeavour is to release the connection within 48 hrs submitted to following condition
- There is no RoW issue to give connection.
- The Connection Premises should be within 30 Mtrs of the nearest connecting points of Utility.
- Applicant should provide valid documents.
- There should not be any Arrear against the Applicant in any Utilities as in clause-17 of OERC Code - 2019.
